Handicap International (HI) is an international organisation working for the prevention of disability and the physical and social rehabilitation of people with disabilities. HI is a non-political and non-religious organisation, with its headquarters in France, 25 years of solidarity. HI is inviting applications from qualified professionals for the following positions:

Project Assistants (2 positions)

The Project Assistants will be responsible for providing effective administrative, financial, logistics, communication and specific project supports and assistance to the project team for efficient daily operation and optimized impact of the project.


REQUIREMENTS:


• Bachelor degree in relevant field (equivalent experience might be considered)

• At least 3 years experience of administrative/ secretarial activities in a similar position, preferably in an international organisation;

• Highly organised, able to work pro-actively through objectives, in a result-oriented approach

• Excellent computer skills, proficiency in English and Nepali

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in both English and Nepali)

• Adaptability and flexibility are very important, with a high level of motivation and an optimistic, constructive and dynamic approach and mentality;

• Excellent team player, with positive and enthusiastic mindset and loyalty towards the project, team and organization.


CONDITIONS, SALARY & BENEFITS:


• All position are based in Handicap International Programme Office, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, with up to 50% travel in rural areas of Nepal.

• Attractive salary and benefits package; Duration of the contract is 1 year (6 months for the "Surgery" Manager), renewable.
