Vacancy Notice No. NEPA/2008-29: Project Officer - HIV & AIDS. (Temporary Fixed Term post) based in Kathmandu.
PURPOSE OF THE POST:
Under the guidance of the Chief, HIV AIDS contributes to the project design, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of programme/project activities, data analysis and progress reporting, including teamwork and capacity building within the HIV AIDS sector.
YOUR PROFILE FOR THE POST:
• Initiative, passion and commitment to UNICEF's mission and professional values.
• University degree in Social Sciences, or a related technical field with special reference to Adolescence & HIV/AIDS.
• Minimum two year professional work experience in project administration, including data collection and analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical and advocacy skills.
• . Supervisory and managerial skills.
• Ability of work in partnership arid commitment to continuous learning for professional development.
• Planning and monitoring skills; ability to organize work and projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, and establish harmonious and effective working relationships both within and outside the organization.
• Good communication skills. Fluency in Nepali and English, both written and oral.
