Programme Officer - Public Health Promotion - 1 Post

The post is a fixed term contract for FOUR MONTHS with possibility of further extension.

Based in field location in the Terai district, you should have a sound knowledge on poverty and developmental issues and I/NGOs role in development, humanitarian support (disaster risk reduction), and livelihood work.
• You should be an excellent communicator with good networking skills. Your key role would be to support partners NGOs in public health and water & sanitation promotion activities.
• You should preferably hold a Bachelors Degree either in Public Health, Nursing, Public Health Engineering, or related subjects with minimum of three years experience of working in an I/NGO in public health promotion.
• A high level of competency in supporting partner NGOs in public health, watsan promotion activities, and training community people and partners NGOs skills are required. The candidate should be well versed on MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Good knowledge of both written and verbal English and Nepali is essential. Preference sfjall be given to those who can communicate in local languages (Bhojpuri, Maithali, Abadhi) and having monitoring skills. You need to have the ability to learn and work independently with minimal supervision.
