The opportunity exists for the following position for an enthusiastic motivated expert:

Position: Personnel Advisor (1)
Location: Kathmandu

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Business administration or Personnel/ Human Resource Management qualification preferred / generalist personnel professional with employee relations experience

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE: Our work is practical, net theoretical. In order to make an impact, you will need to demonstrate both relevant qualifications in the above areas and also be able to point to a track record of practical experience and success. A bachelor degree education in a relevant discipline is desirable.


SOME GENERAL COMPETENCIES:

Candidates for this position will need to demonstrate the following:

• Good judgement and situational assessment
• A strong understanding of Nepali Employment Law in practice
• Ability to build trust in relationships
• Willingness to address difficult issues
• Excellent planning, organising and monitoring skills
• A learning attitude, both in self-development and in building up others
• A passion for sharing knowledge and managing information effectively
• Computer literacy
• Highly competent in both Nepali and English (written and spoken)

Only short listed candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre. The successful candidate will be initially employed for a fixed term until July 2010.
