ARD, Inc., a US-based international development firm, is poised to start technical activities related to the USAID-funded Nepal Government Citizen Partnership Project (NGCPP). ARD, Inc. is recruiting for the following positions:

Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper (This is a Terai based position)

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressively more responsible work experience preferably with a USAID-funded organization.

Successful experience in: a) administration of office finances and accounts, b) entering transactions and generating financial reports in Microsoft Excel, c) review and certification of financial reports, data tracking, subcontracting, commodity purchases, and financial coordination, and d) serve as a cashier for project financial transactions and prepare respective reports.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications, in finance, economics or a relevant discipline and knowledge of basic accounting software would be an advantage.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND APPLICATION PROCEDURES:

For all above positions a high level of fluency in English written and oral communication skills and good knowledge in MS Office applications are required. A strong knowledge of the Terai region and local languages is preferred. Local candidates from the Terai region are urged to apply.

Compensation will be in accordance with project pay scales and commensurate with relevant experience.
