Helen Keller International/Nepal, an international NGO part of Helen Keller International, is a global leader in saving the sight and lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. We combat the causes and consequences of blindness and malnutrition by establishing programs based on evidence and research in vision, health and nutrition.

Helen Keller International / Nepal is seeking candidate for: Action against Malnutrition through Agriculture (AAMA) Project

Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator (1)

REQUIREMENTS:

■ Master's degree in Public Health / demography / population studies and statistics

■ At least 5 years experience in monitoring & evaluation and management information systems in health and/or nutrition programs

■ Demonstrated skills in statistics, data management, analysis and interpretation

■ Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Word & Excel, Power point or other data base/ statistical soft ware)

■ Proficiency in written and spoken English.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

■ Develop a comprehensive monitoring plan for the program as suggested by the program manager

■ Organize, train and participate in all studies and surveys to be conducted during the project period, including baseline and endline surveys, formative research

■ Ensure that all data, information and recommendations resulting from the studies and surveys are properly documented, and assist the project manager in their dissemination to interested stakeholders

■ Build the capacity of district and NGO counterpart staff to design and develop sound monitoring and evaluation tools

■ Ensure quality, consistency and synchronicity of project planning and implementation in regards to M&E.
